Unique tidal baths that were formed amidst lava formations - the Seixal natural pools are also known as Poça das Lesmas. One of the main attractions of these pools is the picturesque rock arch, which serves as an access point to the water and provides a great backdrop for photos. The large rock formations and stunning views of the pools make for a scenic experience. The water is pleasantly warm during the summer and refreshingly cool, but still enjoyable, for a swim in the winter. Similar to Porto Moniz, Seixal has several natural pool complexes. One of these complexes is situated near the popular Seixal beach and harbor. And the one we are talking about here is located on the opposite side of town towards Porto Moniz.
