Welcome to the HIGHEST PEAK IN MADEIRA -- and the third highest in Portugal! Pico Ruivo, standing at 1,862 meters, is the end-point of the iconic sunrise hike starting from Pico do Arieiro. This iconic spot offers breathtaking views of the island, including lush green mountains, valleys, and even glimpses of neighbouring islands on clear days. We hiked there-and-back but you can also arrange transport from Ruivo if you don't wish to do the return trek!
