🕙 10:00am — Lo Wu Border
Cross and take Line 1 west. This is your longest metro journey of all the itineraries — factor it in.
🏯 11:00am — Nantou Ancient Town
Metro Line 12 — Nantou Ancient Town Station Exit D. Ancient city walls, Ming Dynasty gates, street art and small local cafes. Allow 90 minutes walking the lanes. Free to enter.
🍜 12:30pm — Lunch inside Nantou Ancient Town
Small local restaurants and cafes throughout the ancient town streets. Budget ¥40 to ¥80 per person. Order whatever the table next to you has.
🎨 2:00pm — OCT Loft Creative Culture Park
Metro from Nantou area to Qiaocheng East Station Exit B — approximately 15 minutes. Galleries, independent coffee shops, street art and design studios in converted factory buildings. The best independent coffee in Shenzhen is found here. Allow 90 minutes minimum.
☕ 2:00pm to 3:30pm — OCT Loft coffee and gallery wander
No rush here. This neighbourhood rewards slow exploration.
🚇 3:30pm — Metro Line 1 to Window of the World Station
5 minutes from OCT area.
🌍 4:00pm to 7:00pm — Window of the World
Buy the night ticket — the park transforms completely after dark. 130 global landmarks. Mini Eiffel Tower. Pyramids. Niagara Falls. Allow 2 to 3 hours. Buy tickets on Klook in advance for a significant discount.
🍽️ 7:30pm — Dinner at Sea World Plaza
Metro Line 2 from Window of the World toward Sea World — approximately 20 minutes. Multiple restaurants along the waterfront. International and Chinese options. Watch the fountain show at the Minghua ship — shows every 30 minutes from 7pm to 9pm.
🚇 By 10:00pm — Head back to Lo Wu
Sea World to Luohu on Line 2 — allow 40 minutes. Last train from Lo Wu.
End: 11pm back in Hong Kong
