What you’ll do

Luxury Malls, Street Food and Local Hustle

Start: 10am at Lo Wu Border

Description:

Shopping from the border to Luohu's biggest luxury mall. Genuine local street food for lunch. The commercial district where Shenzhen residents actually shop. Dongmen's food trail to close. A day built around spending — but spending smart.

Full Day Timing:

🕙 10:00am — Lo Wu Border
Cross and immediately enter Lo Wu Commercial City.

🛍️ 10:15am — Lo Wu Commercial City
45 minutes maximum. Browse and note prices. Don't buy yet — you'll see the same items cheaper further in.

🍜 11:00am — Jingzhifang lunch
Inside Lo Wu Commercial City. Award winning. Don't skip this even on a shopping day. Allow 60 to 75 minutes.

🚇 12:15pm — Metro Line 1 to Grand Theatre Station
10 minutes.

🛍️ 12:30pm — Guomao Shopping District
The commercial district where local Shenzhen residents shop. Less tourist-facing. More authentic. Department stores, local brands, everyday shopping. 60 to 90 minute browse.

🚇 2:00pm — Metro Line 1 or 2 to Luohu MixC
5 minutes.

🛍️ 2:15pm — Luohu MixC
250 international luxury brands. More for atmosphere than affordable shopping — but the lower level food court is excellent for a mid afternoon break. Allow 75 minutes.

3:00pm — Coffee at Luohu MixC lower level
Rest your feet. Review the day. Decide what you're going back for.

🚇 3:30pm — Metro back to Laojie Station
Dongmen area.

🛍️ 4:00pm — Dongmen Old Street afternoon
The market is at its best from 4pm. Street food stalls open fully. Energy builds. This is where you'll find the most affordable version of everything you saw in the malls.

🍽️ 6:30pm — Dinner on Dongmen
Street food circuit for dinner. Egg waffles, skewers, noodles, hot pot. Budget ¥50 to ¥80 per person. Eat as you walk.

🌃 7:30pm — Optional: KK100 Night Views
Grand Theatre Station — 5 minute walk. Night ticket for the observation deck. Shenzhen lit up below you. Perfect close to a Luohu day.

🚇 By 10:30pm — Head back to Lo Wu
Line 1 east to Luohu. Last train to Hong Kong.

End: 11pm back in Hong Kong
