One Avenue is one of Shenzhen's most stylish shopping and dining precincts, combining luxury retail with beautifully designed outdoor streets and plazas. The development stretches across several connected malls and open-air spaces, making it feel more like a vibrant neighbourhood than a traditional shopping centre.

You'll find everything from designer brands and flagship stores to excellent coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants serving Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Western cuisine. In the evening the area comes alive as office workers and families fill the outdoor terraces for dinner and drinks.

It's one of my favourite places to experience modern Shenzhen—clean, walkable and full of energy without feeling overwhelming. If you're staying in Futian, this is an excellent place to spend an afternoon or enjoy dinner after exploring the Civic Centre or Ping An Finance Centre.
