Escape the city buzz and step into a lush oasis at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, a true local gem nestled on the northern slope of Victoria Peak. You'll find it's a surprisingly peaceful world of its own, with winding paths that lead you through beautiful botanical displays and past enclosures for monkeys, orangutans, and a vibrant aviary. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon stroll; while some paths can be a bit steep, the rewarding greenery and animal encounters are well worth it. Best of all, admission is completely free.
