Just a short drive from the city, you'll find the lovely Rolley Falls, a perfect escape into nature. The trail starts from the day-use area at Rolley Lake and offers a pleasant walk through a lush forest. While the loop around the lake is quite gentle, the path to the falls themselves involves a bit more of a rugged and sometimes steep trail, but it's well worth the effort to see both the charming upper falls and the more dramatic lower falls. The full loop to the falls and around the lake is about 5km and should take you under two hours, making for a wonderful afternoon adventure.
