Allan Beach is a quiet, hidden spot on the Otago Peninsula that feels a bit off the beaten path. You’ll find a wide stretch of sand backed by dunes and cliffs. The beach is usually pretty empty, which makes it perfect for a peaceful walk or just sitting and listening to the waves. You might spot sea lions resting on the sand, so keep a bit of distance and enjoy watching them in their natural setting. If you're into wildlife spotting, it’s a beautiful place to visit from Dunedin.
