Sandymount Recreation Reserve is a great spot for a short walk with amazing views. The tracks take you over grassy hills and along cliffs that drop down to the sea. On a clear day, you can see far across the Otago Peninsula and the waves crashing below. It can get windy up there, so it’s good to bring a jacket. The walk isn’t too hard, and the views make it a really nice place to stop and enjoy the fresh air.
