The Dunedin Botanic Gardens are a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy a bit of nature right in the city. You can walk through gardens filled with colorful flowers, native trees, and winding paths that lead to quiet corners and open lawns. Plan for about an hour or two if you want to explore properly, and don’t miss the upper gardens for great views over Dunedin. If you visit in spring, the rhododendrons are at their best and the whole place feels extra vibrant.
