Not too far into the Hooker Valley Track, you’ll come across the first swing bridge. It’s a fun little moment on the hike and a great spot to pause for a photo. From the middle of the bridge, you get awesome views of the river rushing below, backed by mountains and open sky.

It’s also one of the most photogenic spots on the trail, especially with the contrast between the white water and the dark rocks. Whether you're into photography or just want that classic "I'm hiking in New Zealand" shot, this is the place to get it.
