Here you can find the filming location where Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas arrive at the edge of Fangorn Forest and discover the remains of the Uruk-hai after Éomer and his riders killed them during the night. This is also the scene where Aragorn famously broke his toe while filming the second movie.

It’s also here that, after finding Gandalf in the forest, they come back out and Gandalf calls for Shadowfax for the first time, and we see the horse arrive.

⚠️ Note: This filming location is now on private land. There’s a gate in front of it. You can either go through if it’s open (it was open when I went), or simply observe from the road.

Be careful getting there, it’s a gravel road, so make sure your car is suitable for that kind of terrain and drive slowly.
