Lake Domain Reserve in New Zealand is mostly useful as a free camping stop if you’re heading down toward Cape Palliser or planning to visit the filming location of the Paths of the Dead from Lord of the Rings. There’s plenty of space to park and stretch your legs, but aside from that, there isn’t much to do. It’s a quiet spot to rest before continuing your adventure.
