Katiki Point Lighthouse sits on a rugged cliff on the southeastern coast of New Zealand and has been guiding ships since 1878. The small white lighthouse with its red top makes for a great photo, and the views of the coastline and the Pacific Ocean are amazing. Around the lighthouse, you can spot seals on the rocks and seabirds flying nearby. The area is open to visitors, so you can walk around, enjoy the scenery, and take in a bit of the history while watching the wildlife.
