This is the place where some of the scenes of Rivendell were filmed. Large structures were built here to bring Elrond’s city to life. When you visit, you’ll find informational signs showing which scenes were filmed where. Although nature has since reclaimed much of the area, you can still recognize a few spots here and there. Many scenes were also filmed in a studio, such as the Council of Elrond.
