Purakaunui Bay Campsite is a peaceful spot right by the water in The Catlins. You can pitch a tent or park a camper and enjoy the calm bay and forest around you. It is a great place to relax, listen to the waves, and go for a swim or short walks along the shore. Wildlife is easy to spot here, from birds in the trees to seals on the rocks nearby. The campsite is basic but well-maintained, and it is a lovely place to spend the night.
