Pūrākaunui Bay is a beautiful and quiet bay in The Catlins, with golden sand and calm waters. It is a great spot to go for a swim, take a walk along the beach, or just sit and enjoy the views. You can often see seals resting on the rocks nearby and birds flying along the shoreline. The bay is easy to access from the road and makes for a relaxing stop to take in the natural beauty and maybe snap some photos of the water and surrounding cliffs.
