Whangārei Falls is a really peaceful spot and easy to visit. There is a big car park close to the entrance, and from there you can follow a short walking track to the main lookout. If you feel like a little walk, you can also do the loop track that goes down to the base of the waterfall and back up the other side. The falls are tall and surrounded by green forest, which makes the place feel calm and a bit magical. Come early in the morning if you want to beat the crowd.
