The Cathedral Gully viewing area is located on Cathedral Road, right by the main road. You'll get to enjoy a great view over the cliffs, which are a collection of eroded siltstone pillars, all the way down to Gore Bay. The area looks a lot like the Clay Cliffs close to Mount Cook. It makes for a good break from your drive.
