Huka Falls is a powerful waterfall just a few minutes from Taupō. The water is bright blue and moves fast through a narrow gorge, which makes it really impressive to see. There is a car park close by and a short walk to the main viewing platforms. It is a quick and easy stop, perfect for photos.

It's a pretty popular spot, so I recommend getting there early to beat the crowd.
