Sandfly Bay Wildlife Refuge is a great spot to see wildlife up close, especially the sea lions that often rest on the beach. The walk down to the bay is easy and takes you through sand dunes and grassy areas, with the ocean always in view. Once you reach the beach, you can watch the sea lions lazing in the sun or playing near the water, but it’s important to keep your distance so they feel safe.
