Kiwi Park is a peaceful wildlife sanctuary right in the middle of Queenstown, so it’s easy to walk there from the town center. You’ll want to set aside around one to two hours to wander the trails, watch native birds, and see the kiwi up close, which is a real highlight. The daily keeper talks are worth timing your visit around since they give you fun insights into the animals without feeling too formal. The kiwi house is kept dark so give your eyes a minute to adjust when you step inside and avoid using a phone torch to spot them, as it can disturb them. Don't use flash photography either!
