Directions

Tucked away near Nara Park, you'll find a charming little spot where the soba noodles are a true craft. They mill the buckwheat by hand each morning, but be warned, they only make about 40 portions a day, so you'll want to get there a bit before they open to snag a spot in line. The reward is well worth it – perfectly chewy noodles and incredibly light, crispy tempura in a wonderfully traditional setting.
