Cox's Bazar, located in southeastern Bangladesh, is a bustling city known for its stunning beaches and vibrant tourism scene. With a population of around 196,000, it boasts the longest natural sea beach in the world, stretching over 120 kilometers. The city was named after Captain Hiram Cox, a British East India Company officer who played a key role in refugee rehabilitation efforts in the area. Over the years, Cox's Bazar has evolved into a popular destination for both local and international visitors, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and cultural experiences against the backdrop of the Bay of Bengal.
