Chalan Beel is a wetland in Bangladesh, located in the districts of Sirajganj, Natore, and Pabna. It's like a big marshy area with lots of plants and animals. The beel is fed by 47 rivers and waterways, but it's getting smaller because of silt buildup. Over the years, changes in river courses and railway construction have affected its natural drainage patterns. Despite being a rich habitat for flora and fauna, pollution from pesticides and overfishing has taken a toll on its ecosystem.
