As the most easterly point on K'gari, Indian Head offers spectacular panoramic views along 75 Mile Beach. The short climb up the rocky headland rewards visitors with sightings of marine life like sharks, turtles, and rays. Migrating humpback whales can be seen from July to November. Note: The walking track to the top is currently closed for safety and cultural heritage reasons, with a planned reopening in late 2026.
