You'll want to get up early for this one, but trust me, it's worth it to see the famous wallabies and kangaroos on the beach at sunrise. It's a truly magical experience as the sun comes up over the volcanic headlands. Afterwards, you can explore some fantastic walking trails that wind through the rainforest and offer up incredible views of the coastline. The main trails, like the Andrews Point Track, start right from the main picnic and parking area, with some sections involving a fair few steps to get to the lookouts.
