Come see one of Saga's most mystical sights, the three vermilion torii gates of Ōuo Shrine that seem to float on the Ariake Sea. The view here is always changing with the tides, which can vary by as much as six meters. At high tide, the gates are surrounded by water, creating a magical scene, especially at sunrise or sunset. When the tide is out, you can walk right out onto the seabed to stand beneath the massive gates for a completely different perspective. There's free parking right by the shrine, making it an easy and unforgettable stop.
