Dettifoss is an impressive and powerful waterfall located in northeastern Iceland, in Vatnajökull National Park. The waterfall is one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Iceland, and is a popular destination for tourists and nature lovers alike.

With an average flow of 193 cubic meters of water per second, Dettifoss is considered to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. It is approximately 44 meters high and 100 meters wide, and is fed by the Jökulsá á Fjöllum glacier river. The water cascades over the edge of the cliff and plunges into a deep pool below, creating a constant roar and spray that can be seen and heard from a great distance.
