Da Gairdins, located in Garderhouse, Scotland, is a unique garden filled with trees and exotic plants not typically found in the northernmost part of Scotland. Started by Alan and Ruby Inkster, the gardens showcase their determination to prove naysayers wrong by successfully growing diverse vegetation in Shetland's challenging climate. Visitors can enjoy wooded walks, ponds teeming with frogs, and charming features like Di Boatie Hoose (the Boat House) and Do Modoo (the Meadow). Donations are welcome to support Da Gairdins charity, and the gardens are open year-round for all to explore and enjoy.
