Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park is a must-see spot. This lake is about 45 minutes outside of Jasper and is gorgeous. You can take boat tours from here to Spirit Island for about $100. Spirit Island is also a popular multi day canoe trip that a lot of people book. Back country permits sell out quickly and they are hard to get though. If you really want to see Spirit Lake and go up and down Maligne Lake the boat tour might be a good option!
