Step into a piece of local history at the Secret Lagoon, Iceland's oldest natural swimming pool. Tucked away in the village of Flúðir, this geothermal pool offers a truly authentic Icelandic experience, far from the bustling crowds. You'll feel your worries melt away as you soak in the mineral-rich waters, kept at a cozy 38-40°C all year. Take a stroll along the walking paths to see bubbling hot springs and even a small, erupting geyser just a few feet away, all adding to the magical, steamy atmosphere. This lagoon is one of the oldest in Iceland is very scenic. However due to its ease of access and proximity to Reykjavik and the rest of the Golden Circle it does get very busy.
