Bláhylur is a stunning crater lake in the dramatic landscapes of the Icelandic Highlands. The deep blue water creates a breathtaking contrast with the surrounding dark volcanic slopes. While the view can be admired from the car park, a short, steep 20 minute hike up the crater rim is worth it.
