Welcome to Þingvellir, a place where Iceland's history and the raw power of nature truly come alive. You can literally walk between two continents here, right in the rift valley where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart. The main sights, including the beautiful Öxarárfoss waterfall, are just a short walk from the visitor center along well-marked paths, making it easy to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. You can also snorkel between 2 continents here too! We haven't done it but it looks epic. I linked below and make sure to book in advance.
