From Glenallen to Valdez is my favorite drive in all of Alaska (as long as there is no construction). Tons of peaks to stop and take pictures of and beautiful rivers flowing everywhere. Thompson pass is the peak of this drive before you descend down towards the ocean into Valdez. In the winter Thompson Pass is home to some of the best heli skiing in the world.
