Although you can't go inside the castle, the walk around it is beautiful. catch a few photos with sakura during the spring and bright red leaves during the fall.

Fushimi-Momoyama-jō Castle, located in Kyoto, Japan, is a historic site that dates back to the late 16th century. Originally built by the famous warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this castle was part of his efforts to consolidate power during the tumultuous Sengoku period. The castle's design features traditional Japanese architecture, with impressive stone walls and a distinctive layout that reflects its strategic importance.

Over the years, Fushimi-Momoyama-jō has seen its fair share of battles and changes, especially after Hideyoshi's death. While it was eventually destroyed, the remnants of the castle still attract visitors who are eager to learn about its rich history. Today, the site offers beautiful views and a glimpse into Japan's feudal past, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike. The surrounding area is also lovely, with parks and gardens that add to the charm of this historical landmark.
