This is THE iconic tori Red gates that everyone visits and desires to snap a photo of. It can get really crowded to try to come here early morning, or hike up the mountain as most people don't venture past the first section of tori gates. It is unreal during night time as well!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Fushimi Inari Taisha is a stunning Shinto shrine located in Kyoto, Japan. It's famous for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates that wind their way up the sacred Mount Inari. Visitors can stroll through these iconic gates, which create a mesmerizing tunnel effect as they ascend the mountain. The shrine is dedicated to Inari, the deity of rice and agriculture, and has been a significant spiritual site for centuries. People come not just for the breathtaking views but also to experience the serene atmosphere and rich cultural heritage. Along the trails, there are smaller shrines and fox statues, which are believed to be the messengers of Inari. It’s a place where nature and spirituality blend beautifully, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring Kyoto.
