As you wander through its narrow, cobbled lanes, you'll feel the centuries of history embedded in the stone walls of its medieval and Ottoman architecture. The main path will lead you on a moderate climb up to the ancient fortress; from the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the entire village and the lush river valley below. The walk from the main road and car park is immediate, but be prepared for the steep ascent within the village walls.
