Just a short trip from Sarajevo, you'll find the Skakavac Waterfall, a true local treasure and one of the tallest in the Balkans. To reach this stunning 98-meter cascade, you'll embark on a beautiful 9-kilometer hike that takes about three hours, round trip. The trail winds through lush forests and is a perfect escape into nature, rewarding you with the incredible sight and sound of the falls. It's a moderately challenging walk with some steeper sections, but well worth the effort for the views.
