The Palazzo dei Celestini in Lecce is a remarkable Baroque structure that once served as a monastery for the Celestine monks. Founded in the 14th century, the monastery was moved to its current location in the 16th century after the original convent was demolished to accommodate new fortifications. Today, the building houses government offices, including the Prefecture and the Province of Lecce. Although you cannot go inside, it's worth appreciating its facade and courtyard, through which you can also get to the Giuseppe Garibaldi Public Gardens.
