Whangārei Quarry Gardens is a subtropical oasis created by volunteers in the remnants of a former stone quarry in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Open 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week (apart from Christmas Day and New Year's Day)

  • Maps and information are available at the Visitors Centre.

  • Refreshments at the cafe at entrance.

  • Subtropical and arid gardens.

  • Native forest walks (connecting to Coronation Reserve).

  • Waterfalls, streams, and a lake.

  • Quarry ruins and tunnels.
