Come find what's left of our old Venetian castle, the Kastro of Agios Nikolaos, right at the tip of the village. Not much of the fortress remains after an earthquake, but the views are why we all gather here. You'll want to navigate the winding, narrow paths to the top for an unforgettable panoramic vista of the caldera and the classic blue and white village cascading down the cliffside. It's the most famous spot to watch our legendary sunset, so be sure to arrive at least an hour early to claim your spot, as it gets very crowded.
