Lake days are my fave days - and this lakes don't get much more beautiful than this one - Weather you're on a hunt for a spot for wild swimming, paddle-boarding or maybe just a scenic picnic spot and a paddle lake has it all. There is a shallow entry point to the lake next to a large flat grassy bank - perfect for chilling as a family. Plus free parking and toilets at the car park.

There are a number of walks form here too - including a short circular around the lake or a cave/mountain walk over to Llyn Crafnant (see other lisitings on the map for more info)

Llyn Geirionydd is a picturesque lake nestled in the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia, North Wales. Covering an area of 45 acres, this tranquil spot is a popular destination for visitors seeking a peaceful retreat. Surrounded by the Gwydyr Forest and Carneddau mountains, the lake offers opportunities for water activities like power boating and water skiing. With literary connections to Welsh poets and a rich history of mining, Llyn Geirionydd is a hidden gem waiting to be explored by nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
