If you need me in summer, you'll find me here - Lazy days by the lake are my favourite thing, and this is one of my favourite spots for them.

This pebble beach can get busy in the summer but is always much quieter than the main Lake car park, and the shallow access, grassy banks and sheltered coves make it the perfect spot for kids. We bring our paddle-boards, kayaks, camping chairs and bbqs and happily spend all playing and chilling here.

There is also a station here for the Bala steam railway so it makes a great stop off/starting point if you are planning a ride.

Parking

Llangower Station Car park

£5 all day (plus an extra £5 if you want to launch a paddleboard/kayak from here)

Key Points

There is no cafe so bring a picnic or head into Bala for some food.
