🇧🇷 No Museu Judaico, você encontrará peças que abrangem desde a Idade Média até o século XX, usadas por judeus e cristãos-novos, além de muita história de um povo que nunca deixou sua trajetória para trás. Grande parte do judaísmo sobreviveu em Belmonte porque as mulheres assumiram o papel de memorizar as orações e transmiti-las oralmente aos seus filhos. Além disso, a comunidade permaneceu unida e houve casamentos entre seus membros ao longo de séculos. O museu é um ótimo lugar para se conhecer o contexto antes de explorar o bairro judeu de Belmonte.

🇺🇸 At the Jewish Museum, you will find pieces that span from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, used by Jews and New Christians, along with a wealth of history from a people who never left their journey behind. Much of Judaism survived in Belmonte because women took on the role of memorizing prayers and passing them down orally to their children. Additionally, the community remained united, with intermarriages among its members spanning centuries. The museum is a great place to gain context before exploring the Jewish Quarter of Belmonte.
