🇧🇷 Vilarinho de Negrões é uma aldeia incrivelmente pitoresca no município de Montalegre. Sua característica singular é que fica em uma península artificialmente criada pela Albufeira da barragem do Alto Rabagão. Quando da construção da barragem, algumas aldeias que ficam em zonas mais baixas acabaram sendo condenadas e submersas. Vilarinho de Negrões não só sobreviveu por ficar em um nível mais alto, como acabou ficando rodeada pelas águas da barragem. A aldeia é bem tranquila e é possível conhece-la em pouco tempo. Caminhe entre as casas da aldeia, ande próximo a barragem e almoce no restaurante com linda vista na aldeia. Mas o melhor seria visita-la quando o nível da barragem estiver mais alto, pois ela fica bem mais bonita.

🇺🇸 Vilarinho de Negrões is an incredibly picturesque village in the municipality of Montalegre. Its unique feature is that it is located on an artificially created peninsula formed by the reservoir of the Alto Rabagão Dam. During the construction of the dam, some villages located in lower areas were condemned and submerged. Vilarinho de Negrões not only survived due to its higher elevation but also ended up surrounded by the waters of the reservoir. The village is very peaceful and can be explored in a short amount of time. However, it's best to visit when the reservoir level is higher, as it becomes even more beautiful.
