Step into a space that feels truly alive at the Teshima Art Museum, a breathtaking, water droplet-shaped structure nestled among restored rice terraces overlooking the sea. Inside the single, vast concrete shell, you'll witness a mesmerizing interplay of nature and art as water emerges from the ground, and light and sound filter through two large openings in the ceiling. It's a deeply moving and meditative experience, encouraging quiet contemplation as you watch the elements create a constantly shifting work of art. Entry is by timed booking only, so make sure to reserve in advance.
