The Millennium Bridge in London, also known as the "Wobbly Bridge," is a pedestrian suspension bridge spanning the River Thames. Initially opened in 2000, it had to close shortly after due to unexpected swaying caused by pedestrians walking in sync with the bridge's lateral motion. Engineers fixed the issue by adding dampers and tuned mass dampers to control vibrations. Despite its rocky start, the bridge has since been stable and remains a popular landmark connecting Bankside with the City of London.
