Schloss Schönbrunn is a stunning Baroque Palace located in Hietzing, Vienna. It has been the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers for over three centuries. The thing I like most about it, is the fact that you get to experience lush flower gardens 🌷, dense forests 🌳with little paths, secret hideaways 🦔, huge fountains ⛲️, and the beautiful palace 🏰- all in the middle of the city with the most amazing views. There is so much to explore, so I find new spots every time I go. And this is all FREE of charge for everyone to enjoy.

PS: you get to experience first-hand what it must have been like for the emperors to stroll around in those gardens back when this place was not open to the pubic! PPS: Doing it while wearing a flowy dress makes it even more special!

There is even a super cute Christmas-Market 🎄in Winter and an Easter-Market 🐰in Spring. In Summer there are often open-air concerts - so check their website for events when you´re visiting.
