From the Airport to Adventure

Our journey began with a surprise: we realized just days before flying that we had landed in Japan a full day later than expected! Instead of staying at the airport, we dropped our bags and headed straight to Universal Studios Japan (USJ). It was a smooth 1-hour trip from the airport, and it turned out to be the most high-energy way to kick off our 14-day trip.

✨ What makes it special?

USJ is home to the world-famous Super Nintendo World. It is a literal "Level Up" for any travel itinerary. Walking through that green pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom is a core memory you don't want to miss.

💡 The "Pro-Gem" Strategy: How to actually get in

Entering Super Nintendo World is notoriously difficult and can be extremely stressful if you don't have a plan. To ensure you don't travel all the way to Osaka just to be stuck outside the gates, follow my 100% Guaranteed Entry Method:

The Express Pass Secret: Do not just buy a standard entry ticket. You need to purchase an Express Pass at the same time as your admission.

The "Timed Entry" Hack: There are several types of Express Passes (offering 3, 4, or 7 attractions). Crucial: Make sure the pass you choose includes a Nintendo World attraction (like Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge).

The Result: By booking an Express Pass with a Nintendo activity, you are automatically assigned a specific time slot to enter the land. This is the only way to guarantee your entry without fighting for a spot on the app the morning of your visit.
